When Loki sees Thor for the first time, his facial expression just breaks my heart. Some might say it’s fear in his face, but I’d like to think that he’s struck by sudden wave of emotions. He might hate Thor, but he loves Thor, too, and no matter how angry, hurt and disappointed he is, he’s been missing Thor, his family, home, he just won’t admit it verbally (OK, he does laugh sarcastically “I missed you, too), he tries to hide it but it’s written in his face. I think, he’s less afraid of what Thor could do to him, but more afraid of what his own emotions could do to him because part of Loki wants to go home before it’s too late.
